Who We Are
Sean Curran is a landscape lighting specialist, lighting up the lives of his customers for over 38 years. It all began when Sean was exposed to the art of landscape enhancement when working alongside his father, Donald, when he started his own landscaping company in the 60s.

Throughout the years, Sean has continued educating himself with the latest technology and techniques, all while adding his own creative touch in the process. Unlike many lighting-only companies, Sean’s foundation in landscape design and horticulture informs every aspect of the lighting process. This expertise ensures plant material and trees are illuminated with care, respecting both their structure and long-term growth. He has also worked on some of the most unique projects, one of which is the Museum of Fine Arts Japanese Garden in Boston. Sean has also been featured in Irrigation & Lighting Magazine for his expertise in professional low-voltage lighting design and installation.
With your dreams in mind, Sean and his son Jeremy can enhance your property with landscape lighting and even impressive outdoor audio. Serving New England, Beautification Through Illumination can make your design dreams come true.
Sean and Jeremy are Certified Low Voltage Lighting Technicians and Sean is past President of the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP). Sean is also a current Co-Chair of Certification. This is a nationwide organization of lighting contractors, distributors, and manufacturers dedicated to the evolution of landscape lighting. Sean and Jeremy attend the AOLP's Illuminate conference each year and are very active members of the landscape lighting community.
